The Question
Fella who wants to wants a quick hookup with a flirtatious female: “Hey Frankie. How do I get laid at QuickFlirt.com?”
Me: “QuickFlirt.com? No sweat, brother. It’s real easy. And quick, of course. Now, quick as a bunny, hop on over to your internet-browsing device of choice. There? Good good. Now take a deep breath and click on absolutely anything at all because you fucking don’t!”
I’ll give it to you quick. Fast or slow, you ain’t getting laid at QuickFlirt.com.
But why, Frankie? What’s wrong with QuickFlirt.com?
Lemme bust out my brand new term for what’s going on here. Ready?
This shit is 3F!
For the uninitiated, 3F is shorthand for the usual scam foundation that shady dating sites are built on. It stands for fake members, fake profiles, fake emails.
Which is what’s going on here. Surprise (said no one).
Tell me more, Frankie.
Does the term “Staff Profiles” fill you full of excitement? No? Didn’t think so.
But I want details!
Sure thing! Here come da details!
We’ve actually seen this bit of Terms and Conditions “code” for bullshit before in our NaughtyDate.com review. I don’t doubt we’ll see it again.
From section 1 of the Terms of Use:
We may, from time to time, create profiles which are created, maintained and managed by our employees (“Staff Profiles”).
They also say:
The purpose of these Staff Profiles is to enable us to ensure our Services are operating properly by testing the Services, features and functionalities, and to research our products and Services.
Oh, I see. They’re only making fake profiles to make sure everything is working. Gotcha. I mean, it’s not like they’d be making a shitload of profiles to try and dupe anybody, right? They only built a giant-ass website. How on earth could they possibly test it and make sure everything is working without littering it with fake profiles that interact with hapless dudes who QuickFlirt knows aren’t going to read any kind of fine print. Sounds perfectly logical to me. (I’ll end my sarcasm here.)
Come on now. Our mamas didn’t raise no dummies.
I don’t believe you, Frankie!
Yeah, I can see how it would be hard to believe that motherfuckers like these would try and rip you off. And that they obviously repeatedly get away with it with loads of people. It’s a pretty shafty thing to do.
But, you know, it’s in black and white in the T&C. Tough to argue that.
So how the hell am I supposed to get laid?
